COVID-19 Updates

11th October 2021

From the 11th of October it will be a requirement by law that only double vaccinated guests will be able to enter the restaurant. Please make a booking in line with this direction as you will need to check-in, wear a mask and show your vaccination pass on arrival.

Please understand this is a stressful time for everyone and be always respectful with our staff

Good luck and good health to you all.

COVID-19 Updates

Pizza Paradiso will be operating again tonight as a takeaway and delivery service. We have introduced new protocols to enhance safety for both customers and staff.

Regrettably for a business that prides itself on the friendliness of our hospitality, this will mean minimising contact with our customers.

As part of this we ask if you could please follow these instructions:

  • Payment is by Eftpos or credit card only, we will not be handling cash

  • If possible, place your order and pay over the phone.

Takeaways can then be collected at the front window and we can maintain a commitment to the social distancing requirements

Deliveries can, if you prefer, be left on your doorstep and your driver can ring you when he arrives. We will no longer charge fees for deliveries.

As inconvenient as many of these protocols are we hope you understand that they are necessary to ensure as far as possible the safety of both staff and customers.

Thank you for your continued support.

COVID-19 Updates

25th May 2020

It's official! Pizza Paradiso will be reopening our doors and serving on plates from Tuesday 2nd June 🙌⠀

In the interest of social distancing and keeping to our 50 person limit, we’ve decommissioned a few tables, so bookings are definitely recommended to avoid missing out.

We’ll be continuing the strict sanitising procedures we had in place in our dining area prior to closure and we appreciate your patience while our staff implement these. We also ask that you make use of our Brookies hand sanitising station upon entry.

Reopening of the doors will also mean our service window’s days are over, come on in and order at the counter as usual! Due to space limitations we will be restricting the number of people queuing inside to ensure social distancing, however we will pop out into the courtyard to deliver your order if needed.⠀

Click here to book - we can't wait to see you 😘

COVID-19 Updates

23rd March 2020

We’ll be closed tonight to make a couple more changes to our systems to ensure we can provide our takeaway and delivery service in the safest possible way for our staff and customers. Back on tomorrow 🧡🧡

TAKE AWAY + DELIVERY ONLY

21st March 2020

PIZZA PARADISO'S LAST SUPPER

WE REGRET TO ANNOUNCE THAT FROM SATURDAY 21 MARCH WE WILL NO LONGER BE OPERATING AS A RESTAURANT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.

We will continue to operate as a takeaway and delivery operation with minimum contact.

We have introduced the most strict hygiene standards possible including, as we stated in the previous notice, zero tolerance for staff showing any flu or cold symptoms, regular sanitising of all hard surfaces, enhanced cleaning regimes, no cash handling (payment only by Eftpos or credit card), etc.

Our apologies for the inconvenience this will cause but I hope you understand that under the current health authority recommendations we feel it is impossible to provide a dining environment that we consider safe enough for both customers and staff.

Good luck and good health to you all.

20th March 2020

In the interests of customer and staff safety we regret to announce that tonight will be the last time we will operate as a dine-in restaurant for the foreseeable future.

As the COVID-19 pandemic worsens we believe that the dining operation is untenable in terms of managing the environment effectively in a way that would ensure safety standards. There are just too many factors we can’t control.

We will continue to operate as a takeaway and delivery operation and will offer a zero-contact service.

We apologise for any inconvenience both the closure of the restaurant and the institution of the new safety procedures may cause but hope you will understand the necessity in the face of the pandemic we are all about to confront.

We hope you will continue to support us in these difficult times.

Good luck and good health to you all

COVID-19 Updates

19th March 2020

In light of the recent developments regarding the spread of Coronavirus / COVID-19 we would like to communicate the following with regard to our commitment to customer safety.

We have enacted a number of protocols over and above our normal hygiene practices. These include but are not limited to:

  • Scheduled and routine sanitisation of all door handles, work stations and all other frequently touched surfaces

  • Additional training and strict implementation of employee sanitation practices including frequent washing of hands and the use of hand sanitiser

  • Use of the strongest available cleaning products to ensure thorough sanitisation of both the kitchen and dining areas

  • The enforcement of a zero-toleration policy for any staff members displaying any sign of cold or flu symptoms (i.e. they will not be allowed to enter the workplace)

  • We will now only accept payment by Eftpos or credit card and will not handle cash

  • We will be offering a no contact delivery service to those who are in isolation or prefer to take the utmost precaution regarding their food delivery. This will involve payment by card over the phone and delivery to your doorstep.

We will continue to monitor this situation as it evolves and will adapt our policies according to any future guidelines provided by the NSW health authorities in order to ensure the safety of our customers and our staff. If it is deemed necessary we will close the restaurant and continue operating as a takeaway service.

Good luck and good health to everyone
